Julián Jefferies and Fernando Rodríguez-Valls are leading a project that partners bilingual faculty mentors with bilingual students to co-design lesson plans in other languages.

Fulbright Scholar Studies Ghanaian Education

Assistant professor of elementary and bilingual education examines the educational experiences of Ghanaian girls, researching academic barriers and how they overcame them.

Educator Advocates for LGBTQ+ Future Teachers

William Toledo’s research focuses on how student teachers can be comfortable being gay and lesbian teaching professionals and preparing future teachers to become LGBTQ+ advocates in schools.
